Hotham Hall hosts only a select number of weddings each year. When you choose exclusive hire of the estate, you have over 120 acres to yourselves, from the grand reception rooms of the Hall to the formal gardens, the woodland lake, the parkland, and The Carriage House beyond.
Exclusive use means the estate belongs entirely to you, from the moment your first guest arrives to the final moments of the evening. There are no other events and no other guests, only complete privacy and the full attention of our team throughout your day.
Ceremony settings range from the grandeur of the King Edward Ballroom to the refined intimacy of the Drawing Room, the immaculately kept formal gardens, and our secluded woodland island setting, which accommodates up to 80 guests. St Oswald's Church in Hotham Village and All Saints Church in North Cave are also a gentle walk through the estate's parkland for those drawn to a traditional setting. When the celebration continues past midnight, the Hall's five bedrooms sleep up to 10 guests, and The Carriage House offers a further 12 suites, including the Bridal Suite and a two-bedroom suite sleeping four, so your closest family and friends need not go far.

Yes, we have several options to host your ceremony and reception. Our team will help you plan how the day moves across whichever spaces suit your vision.
We welcome intimate celebrations from as few as two guests up to larger receptions for 200 in a marquee across our formal gardens. Our seven-acre event field can host even larger configurations for those planning a grand celebration.
All food and drink at Hotham Hall is created in-house by our experienced catering team. Our Michelin-trained chefs craft bespoke menus using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, with drinks packages tailored to complement every course and every guest.
Yes. The Hall includes five luxurious bedrooms for up to 10 guests, and The Carriage House offers 12 further en-suite suites, including a two-bedroom suite that accommodates four guests, including a Bridal Suite. Your closest family and friends can stay on the estate and enjoy every moment of the weekend at their own pace.
