The Carriage House Suites
An old stable block, made new
The Carriage House is the newest part of Hotham Hall. Thoughtfully restored from the original 18th-century stable block, it keeps the stonework and proportions of the old building and adds rich, comfortable interiors.
The 12 suites have been individually designed using a curated selection of antiques alongside furniture by Andrew Martin, whose style brings warmth and a bit of fun to every room. Most suites are designed for double occupancy, with the exception of a two-bedroom suite sleeping four, and each is finished with smart-tech controls. Downstairs, Colonel Jack's Bar and the club rooms provide a natural social space, from morning coffee to a nightcap as the evening draws to a close.
Among the 12 is the Bridal Suite, spacious and positioned at the heart of the building, the natural choice for couples celebrating a wedding at the estate. Beyond the rooms themselves, the club rooms, Colonel Jack's Bar, and the wider estate are all immediately accessible, so guests can settle in and enjoy the estate at their own pace, here for a wedding, a retreat, a shoot, or a night away.

Where history meets the party
The Carriage House
Once the estate's 18th-century stable block, The Carriage House has been reborn. Historic bones, contemporary design and twelve individually designed suites, wrapped around a run of spaces made for gathering, celebrating and staying up far later than you planned. Welcome to the liveliest corner of Hotham Hall.

Kick off your shoes and stay a while
The Club Rooms
Panelled walls, original beams and big, light-filled windows. Crackling fireplaces, deep sofas and wing chairs made for sinking into. Downstairs in The Carriage House, the club rooms are where the conversation flows: morning coffee, pre-dinner catch-ups and one last nightcap by the fire. With Colonel Jack's Bar right alongside, your guests will make themselves at home in minutes.
Bold, red and just a little bit sassy
Colonel Jack's Bar
Every great house needs a great bar, and this one has attitude. Dressed in rich reds and warmed by a glowing inglenook fireplace, Colonel Jack's Bar is the beating heart of The Carriage House. Open to everyone staying with us, it's where first drinks turn into long stories, toasts get louder and the night has a habit of carrying on.
A blank canvas, flooded with light
The Event Space
Huge Crittall windows pour daylight into a space that's as versatile as it is beautiful. Say your vows here, then turn it into a reception for up to 120 guests for a wedding breakfast. Host a conference that people actually look forward to. Throw a seasonal party to remember. Use it on its own, or throw open the doors to the event bar next door for one seamless space. However you picture it, our team will help bring it to life.
One long bar. Plenty of cocktails.
The Event Bar
Meet the showstopper. Stretching the length of the room, the event bar comes with several cocktail stations, so the drinks keep coming and nobody waits long for the next round. From fizz after the ceremony to cocktails as the dancing starts, it keeps the energy right where it should be. Open it up to the event space for one big celebration, or keep it as a space of its own for drinks receptions and parties.

Golden hour, under the clock tower
The Courtyards
Sheltered and overlooked by the clock tower, the inner and outer courtyards are where the party heads outdoors. Raise a glass on arrival with welcome drinks, then linger for sundowners as the sun sets across the estate. Use them together or individually, depending on your event, and when the evening calls you back inside, the event space, club rooms and Colonel Jack's Bar are only moments away.
