Exclusive use comes as standard. Your group has the estate to itself from arrival to departure, which suits leadership teams with big decisions to make and companies wanting to bring people back together.
Morning sessions in the Hall's elegant working spaces set the tone for the day, and a walk through the gardens or parkland helps clear the head between sessions. In the evening, the group moves over to The Carriage House and Colonel Jack's Bar to unwind. Hotham Hall's 17 luxury bedrooms, including one two-bedroom suite for four, are spread across the Hall and The Carriage House, so nobody has to drive home after dinner.

The Georgian rooms of the Hall work well for structured sessions and workshops, with presentations equally well supported. The Prince of Wales Library Bar, with its retractable presentation screen concealed within the bookshelf, works as a meeting room by day and a bar in the evening. The Drawing Room and Study offer smaller breakout spaces for more intimate discussions.

Outside the sessions, over 120 acres of parkland, gardens, and woodland give people room to walk and think. Some of the best conversations on a retreat happen on those walks.

The estate's Control4 smart system manages lighting and music throughout, creating the right atmosphere for every part of the day. AV and PA systems are integrated discreetly across all spaces, so the technology is there when you need it and out of sight when you do not.

Our in-house culinary team supports every part of the retreat day, from breakfast through to a formal dinner in the evening. Every menu is crafted specifically for your group, using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and cooked by our own chefs. After a long day, Colonel Jack's Bar in The Carriage House is a good place to relax and talk.

Yes. Exclusive use of the entire estate is included as standard with every retreat booking. Your group has complete privacy across the Hall, The Carriage House, the gardens, and the wider grounds. There are no other events and no other guests.
The estate offers a range of working spaces including the King Edward Ballroom for larger plenary sessions, the Prince of Wales Library Bar with its retractable concealed screen for presentations, and the Drawing Room and Study for smaller breakout groups. The Control4 smart system manages lighting and music throughout, and discreet AV and PA systems are available across all spaces.
Yes, and we strongly encourage it. Staying over turns a day event into a proper retreat. The estate’s 17 luxury bedrooms across the Hall and The Carriage House allow your group to remain immersed in the environment, extending the focus and connection of the retreat into the evening and the following morning.
Yes. All food and drink is provided by our in-house culinary team. We support the full retreat day from breakfast and morning refreshments through to a formal dinner in the evening. Every menu is tailored to your group and crafted from seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
