Holding your event in a Grade II* listed Georgian house shows supporters how much the evening matters. Good food from our own kitchen and over 120 acres of Yorkshire countryside help guests feel looked after, which counts when you are asking them to give.
You have the estate to yourselves on the day, with our team focused on your event. From intimate fundraising dinners for 20 guests in the Drawing Room to larger garden parties and active fundraiser events on the estate grounds, we can shape the day around your cause.
Elegant charity dinners in the King Edward Ballroom create a memorable evening for donors and supporters, while drinks receptions and garden parties in the formal gardens offer a more relaxed setting for fundraising and relationship building. For active fundraising events such as sponsored cycling or running challenges, the estate's grounds and parkland make a scenic course. For events requiring overnight accommodation, the Hall's five bedrooms and The Carriage House's 12 en-suite suites mean out-of-town guests and key supporters can stay the night.

The Georgian rooms of the Hall, including the King Edward Ballroom, the Prince of Wales Library Bar, the Drawing Room, and the Study, suit charity dinners and receptions well. The Carriage House event spaces and Colonel Jack's Bar offer a more contemporary alternative, while the formal gardens provide a beautiful outdoor option for summer events.

We host a wide range of charity events, including formal fundraising dinners, drinks receptions, garden parties, awards evenings, and active fundraising events on the estate grounds. If you have a specific format in mind, please get in touch and we will discuss how we can support you.
We accommodate charity events from intimate dinners of 20 guests up to larger celebrations for 100 within the Hall and Carriage House. For larger events, please contact our team directly to discuss the options available across the wider estate and grounds.
Yes. All food and drink at Hotham Hall is provided by our in-house culinary team. Our chefs create bespoke menus for every event, and our drinks packages are tailored to your requirements and your guests.
Yes. Five luxurious bedrooms in the Hall accommodate up to 10 guests, and The Carriage House provides 12 further en-suite suites (one of which is a two-bedroom suite that accommodates four guests). Staying on the estate adds a wonderful dimension to any charity event, and our team can help arrange the accommodation alongside your event planning.
