On Friday 3rd July, The Carriage House at Hotham Hall Estate played host to one of the most memorable evenings we have had the pleasure of putting on. An Evening with Absolutely Amy brought together 120 guests for a night of soulful live music alongside fine dining and an atmosphere that we will not forget in a hurry.
This sold-out ticketed event was something truly special for our guests.
The Setting
For the evening, The Carriage House was transformed into a stunning event space dressed in rich red, black, and gold décor, complete with a bespoke stage built for the performance. The result was an intimate, immersive setting that set the tone perfectly for what was to come.

The Evening
Guests were welcomed on arrival with a carefully curated selection of cocktails and glasses of crémant. A beautifully presented three-course dinner followed, with two sets of live music woven through the evening.
The headline act was Absolutely Amy, widely regarded as the UK’s premier Amy Winehouse tribute artist. What made this evening truly extraordinary was the presence of Robin Banerjee, the original guitarist who toured and recorded alongside Amy Winehouse during her Back to Black era, including her iconic 2007 Glastonbury performance.
Together, they delivered a performance that captured the spirit of Amy Winehouse’s music in a way that felt entirely authentic. From Rehab to Valerie, every song landed exactly as it should.
Up Close and Personal
One of the things that made the evening so special was the intimacy of the setting. With 120 guests in the room, everyone could be close to the music, and that is something a larger venue simply cannot offer.
The Carriage House gave the evening a warmth and closeness that guests remarked on throughout the night.
